This was inspired by a similar post on the Sliders list, though a few of these have been circulating around my head (and in my life) for a while.
- ... You ever got up at an obscene hour in the morning to tape episodes.
- ... You find it impossible to watch Clint Eastwood westerns without grumbling something about "bio-defense" under your breath.
- ... Sliders gives you a profound sense of deja vu.
- ... Your first thought at seeing Star Trek: Voyager is "What? Doc's horse got a spin-off?"
- ... The very mention of "Bravestarr" makes you nausous.
- ... You can't watch "Dirty Dancing" or the Animated "Beauty and the Beast" without snickering.
- ... You have ALL the episodes taped on SP.
- ... You recieve packages in the mail with the words "No Guts, No Glory" written on the top.
- ... You create a GR website
- ... You find yourself repeating some of Doc's one-liners.
- ... You make a GR costume (bonus if it involves facepaint and freeze- framing episodes).
- ... You're fully profienient in the use of the term "MF" (a common term in the GR chat room).
- ... You get so desparate for episodes that you can sit through "Mothmoose," "Rogue Arm," and "Tortuna Rock"
- ... You've memorized "Endgame."
- ... Even your parrot can quote the opening speech.
- ... You watch S:AAB, but slip and call the in-vitros "Supertroopers"
- ... If you've ever role-played out the series (bonus if you're a girl who played in drag)
- ... You actually look up Doug Pries, Laura Dean, Jerry Orbach, and Hubert Kelly in the Internet Movie Database.
- ... You actually KNOW who did which voice on the show.
- ... You hook up audio cables from your VCR to your stereo and rig up a way to tape the soundtrack from your collection of VHS tapes.
- ... You have GR fan art on your wall
- ... You're on concom, and you absolutely DEMAND a GR marathon in the video rooms.
- ... You went to the 4-9AM GR Marathon at Geocon 5 and stayed awake through it all, loading up on caffeine in Hostility JUST for that purpose.
- ... You got really pissed when you found out it didn't get a toy deal.
- ... You bought the lunchbox and used it to hide the GR tapes from your mom.
- ... You actually sit down and write out a story where the Rangers rescue Eliza's Crystal.
- ... You're working on a sequel.
- ... When you accidentally type "G/N" on a document.
- ... When you watch Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders JUST because Robert Mandell produced it, and you recognize the voice talent.
- ... You watch "Scarecrow" and wonder if Chris Carter got his inspiration for the X-files from this show
- ... You have really wild dreams about the characters* ... (Especially after some of the chat sessions!)
- ... You are desperate enough to *audio* tape episodes so you can listen to them in the car!
- ... When asked by a certain Mr. Morden (check my spelling here), "What do you want?" and you respond, "GR! GR! GR!"
- ... You start a mailing list dedicated just to the show! (Thanks, LJC!!!)
- ... You start a "weekly" chat session on IRC for the show!
- ... You can start quoting almost *all* the episodes word for word* ... Even "Tortuna Rock," "Mothmoose," and "Battle of the Bandits!"
- ... You go to other mailing lists and start recruiting people for the GR list!
- ... You use lines from GR in your e-mail signature.
- ... Your handle/nickname is from a character on the show.
- ... Every time you watch Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi and Lando comes up on the screen you find yourself murmuring "Doc"
- ... You find yourself laboring over sketches of the main characters so that when you start to make the comic book you will allready be familiar with the character!
- ... You have ever walked into a Postal office carring a box of ten blank tapes and asked how much it would cost to send them all the way across the country and back :)
- ... You can stay up all night discussing G/N :)
- ... Even in speech you start referring to them as "GR eps"
- ... You hear the name "Buzzwang" and wince
- ... You have a piece of tape on your old bike that says "Mel"
- ... You watch "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" just to listen to the voice actors

- ... You try to convert all of the animation fans you know
- ... You actually consider getting a badge tattoo
- ... everytime the Sci-Fi channel advertises their Original Movie, you hope it's GR related
- ... You read the TV guide just in case the show suddenly resurfaces
- ... You watch "Doug" just to listen to Doug Preis
- ... You are offended by the Power Rangers
- ... You look up all the character names in the name books
- ... and you get annoyed because Niko is never listed
- ... You play the Top Gun soundtrack when you can't watch your tapes
- ... every time you watch an action cartoon, you come up with a crossover

- ... one of your top songs in your library is Psychocrystal. (the song sung by Nimrod in the Battle of the Bands episode)
- ... Bought someone a new sewing machine in order for them to make 3 GR shirts for a small-time club function.
- ... Gone in Blackface and without glasses so everthing is a blur, but cool.
- ... You're playing AD&D, and you ask the GM if you can play a new type of Ranger, a Series 5 Ranger.
Jayce - Take Two
- ... You become a world-class fencer.
- ... You can say ANYTHING sarcastic and get away with it by using your charm.
- ... You can recite your favorite episodes straight from memory.
- ... You learn to shoot with both hands.
- ... You make a special holster for your shotgun and wear it everywhere.
- ... You start swearing other shows are ripping off GR ideas...
- ... You throw heavy objects (tables, people, etc.) using your left arm -- and never strain your body.
- ... You utter a Rangerism every few minutes.
- ... You write GR crossovers/alternate-universes for every other show/movie/game you like!
- ... You're an expert hacker -- complete with your own tweakers!
- ... You become infamous at music stores for demanding the GR and Slaverlords' music.
- ... You bring charges of libel against those infidels who DARE claim GR's "only a cartoon!"
- ... You buy a huge mountain in Arizona and convert it into BETA headquarters a century early.

- ... You earn a Ph.D. in genetics for the sole purpose of creating Supertroopers.

- ... You make it your life's work to educate and convert family, friends, acquaintances, co-workers AND perfect strangers to GR.

I believe the original "Take 1" list, or parts of it, were from the Mailing List and put together for the GRCD1. "Take 2" I believe to be Jayce's list.
